We recently welcomed 12 international guests and their tour guide to our engrace atelier, located near the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, for a special Kintsugi Jewelry Workshop.

This workshop was part of a group tour organized by a travel company, offering guests a unique cultural experience during their journey through Japan.

Their itinerary included Kyoto, Kanazawa, and Tokyo, following one of Japan's most popular travel routes. The group brought together travelers from the United States, Australia, and various European countries.

Until now, we had welcomed a maximum of 10 guests at a time to our atelier. For this special occasion, we added three more chairs and hosted our largest group workshop yet, with 13 participants!

Each guest carefully selected their favorite Japanese pottery fragments and combined them with natural gemstones and other materials to create their own one-of-a-kind piece of Kintsugi jewelry.

Everyone was so focused on their creations, and it was wonderful to see their unique personalities reflected in the finished pieces.

The group was incredibly friendly and cooperative, making the entire experience enjoyable for everyone, including myself.

What touched me the most was seeing people from so many different countries gathered in our small atelier in Kyoto, enjoying Japanese craftsmanship and creating something special with their own hands.

It truly meant a lot to me.

It's been almost two years since we opened our atelier and about a year and a half since we started welcoming international guests.

Looking back, it's incredibly rewarding to see how far we've come and how our little atelier has become a place where people from around the world can connect through creativity and Japanese craftsmanship.

Autumn is one of the most beautiful seasons to visit Japan, and we already have several more group workshops scheduled in the coming weeks.

I'm looking forward to meeting more wonderful guests and sharing the beauty of Kintsugi jewelry with them.

I hope the time spent at engrace will become one of the special memories they take home from their journey through Japan.

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us!
