This workshop offers a unique opportunity to experience
traditional Japanese craftsmanship through the art of Kintsugi,
while creating your own one-of-a-kind jewelry piece.
✨ About the Experience
Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese technique dating back to the Muromachi period,
used to repair broken ceramics by joining the pieces with lacquer
and highlighting the seams with gold.
In this workshop, we use a safe, beginner-friendly synthetic lacquer
that dries quickly and minimizes the risk of skin irritation,
allowing everyone to enjoy the process with ease.
You will select from a variety of authentic ceramic fragments sourced from kilns across Japan,
combined with natural stones, pearls, shells, and glass materials,
to create your own sustainable and meaningful Kintsugi jewelry.
Each piece is completely unique — just like your experience in Japan.

In addition to our regular workshops, we also offer private group bookings
for inbound travelers, cultural tours, and corporate events in Kyoto.
This experience is ideal as a Japanese cultural activity for overseas guests,
and can be arranged in collaboration with travel agencies, tour organizers, or companies.
Workshops can be hosted at our Kyoto atelier (up to 10 participants)
or at external venues such as hotels (up to 16 participants).
We can also arrange on-site workshops tailored to your event location.
