新しいプレミアムシリーズを、今夜ローンチします。
Premiumシリーズは、普段なかなか出会えない貴重な焼き物や、純金で金継ぎを施した作品など、特別な素材を使った一点ものの金継ぎジュエリーです。
制作数も限られた、小さな特別ラインです。
今回使用したのは、京都・東山五条にある、西川貞三郎商店様 @teizaburo_nishikawa の京焼・清水焼。
1917年創業。
100年以上にわたり京焼・清水焼を国内外へ届け続け、1958年にはベルギー万博にも出展された、京都を代表する老舗のお店です。
現在も世界各国へ日本の伝統工芸を紹介されていて、京都の焼き物文化を長く支えてこられました。
今年3月の京都ギフトショーで3代目の社長様とご縁をいただき、割れや欠けなど様々な理由で販売には至らなかった清水焼を、特別に譲っていただきました。
小さな陶片の中にある、繊細な絵付けや金彩の美しさ。
プリントではない、職人の技術が活かされたやきもの。
どんなジュエリーに生まれ変わるのかウキウキしながら、持ち帰り、やっといくつか制作出来ました。
金具には14KGFのフックピアスを使用。
裏面にも金彩を施し、コーティングまで丁寧に仕上げています。
長い時間をかけて受け継がれてきた京都のものづくりを、
今の暮らしの中で気軽に楽しめる形に変えて届けられたら嬉しいです。

Launching tonight online.
A new special line of one-of-a-kind kintsugi jewelry made with rare Japanese ceramics and, in some pieces, pure gold kintsugi.
For our first release, we used precious Kyo ware / Kiyomizu ware from Nishikawa Teizaburo Shoten @teizaburo_nishikawa — a historic Kyoto shop founded in 1917, known for sharing Kyoto ceramics and Japanese traditional crafts with the world for over 100 years.
This March, we had the honor of meeting the third-generation president at the Kyoto Gift Show and were specially allowed to purchase damaged Kiyomizu ware pieces that could no longer be sold.
The delicate hand-painted details and gold accents are truly beautiful.
Not printed — but crafted by skilled artisans, carrying the warmth of handmade work.
I brought these ceramic pieces back to the atelier feeling excited about what they could become, and finally completed the first few pieces.
Finished with 14KGF hook earrings, gold detailing on the back, and protective coating.
Each piece comes in an engrace foil-stamped gift box.
