This is Kintsugi SDGs jewelry upcycled from Kyo-yaki/Kiyomizu-yaki ware made by Fukuiku-gama in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture.

We reuse broken or chipped pottery that is no longer in use, applying Kintsugi to transform them into accessories.

The concept of the work is to allow people to feel nature and long-standing Japanese traditions close at hand, rebirthing them into modern accessories that lead to the future and creating new possibilities.

We paired blue lace agate with elegant ceramic shards featuring floral designs. Kintsugi is applied to the sides of the shards, making the gold stand out even when viewed from the side and adding a touch of refinement.

These earrings are perfect as a focal point for both casual and elegant outfits.

The Kintsugi parts use modern lacquer and gold powder (brass or pearl powder), with UV resin also used for reinforcement.
