This is Kintsugi SDGs jewelry upcycled from Kyoyaki/Kiyomizuyaki ware created by Fukuiku-gama in Uji City, Kyoto.

We reuse broken, chipped, or otherwise unused pottery, applying Kintsugi to remake it into accessories.

The concept of the work is to allow people to feel nature and long-standing Japanese traditions close at hand, reborn as modern accessories that connect to the future and create new possibilities.

I combined elegant pottery pieces featuring hand-painted flower patterns with freshwater pearls.

Since Kintsugi is applied to the sides of the pottery, the gold stands out even from the side, producing a refined look.

Please enjoy wearing them as an accent for both casual and elegant outfits.

- Size (Pottery piece): Approx. 15 mm x 10 mm

- Fitting: Clip-on earrings (Screw-back type / Fittings cannot be changed)

- Weight: Though it is pottery, it is lightweight and comfortable to wear.

＊"Kintsugi" is a unique Japanese traditional repair technique that joins broken or chipped ceramics using lacquer and gold powder. This work is created using modern "simplified Kintsugi" techniques. Unlike traditional Kintsugi made from the sap of the lacquer tree, we use an adhesive for the initial bonding. The Kintsugi portion is finished with specialized "New Lacquer" and gold powder (brass and pearl powder), with UV resin used for reinforcement.
