This is a Kintsugi accessory that uses pottery from Fukuikugama in Uji, Kyoto, which produces Kyo ware and Kiyomizu ware.
We reuse pottery that can no longer be used as it is, and combine it with stained glass and natural stones with gold splicing to remake it as an accessory.
The concept is to bring nature and long-lasting Japanese traditions closer to you, and to create new possibilities by transforming them into modern accessories that will continue into the future.
I was allowed to go directly to the workshop of the Fukku kiln, and I was allowed to choose the pottery that will be the basis of the accessories from among the cracked and chipped vessels that are industrial waste.
There were many beautiful glaze colors, paintings, and indescribably mature clay designs, and they looked like treasures to me.
"Things that are no longer used" can be transformed into "new and valuable things" when viewed from a different perspective.
Kyo-yaki porcelain pieces with hand-painted pink floral patterns are combined with stained glass in the same gentle pink color, and the center is decorated with natural stones of similar colors, milky kunzite, ruby, and inca rose. It has become more elegant and classy.
It has a cute yet calm and mature impression, and the gold is applied to the sides and the gold shines even when viewed from the side, giving it a classy look.
The compatibility between pottery and Kintsugi is good, and there is a special feeling because there is no same shape or pattern.
Materials: Kyoto ware, Kiyomizu ware, stained glass, natural stone Size: 36 x 25 mm
Weight: Although it is a piece of pottery, it is light and comfortable to wear.
It's a unique one-of-a-kind accessory, so I think it's perfect as a gift.
Makes a great gift for someone special, such as Mother's Day or a birthday gift.

* “Kintsugi” is a traditional Japanese technique of repairing cracked or chipped ceramics using lacquer and gold powder. This work is created using the modern version of simple kintsugi technique, so unlike genuine lacquer made from the sap of lacquer trees, it uses new lacquer and gold powder (brass powder) that is resistant to rashes, and is used for reinforcement. We also use UV resin.
* Although we have created it as carefully as possible, depending on the product, there may be areas where the adhesive or UV resin protrudes, and where the lacquer is mottled. In order to maintain the strength, it is left as it is, and sometimes it is not uniform due to the mixture of lacquer and brass powder. I would appreciate it if you could buy it after understanding that it is a handmade work. If you are concerned about the details, please refrain from purchasing.
*Because it is also exhibited at various events and other online shops, it may sell out at the same time and be out of stock. In that case, we will make it again with the same parts, but please understand that there are individual differences in the color, shape and pattern of the pottery pieces and natural stones.
