This is a collaboration piece featuring ceramics from Hakkagama, a pottery studio in Imari City, Saga Prefecture.
We designed these using Kintsugi on stylish ceramic shards featuring brushstroke (Hake-me) patterns.
Kintsugi is applied to the sides of the ceramic shards, so the gold stands out even from the side, creating a refined look.
Please enjoy wearing them as an accent for both casual and elegant outfits.
Size: Ceramic Shard: 16 mm in diameter
Fitting: Surgical Stainless Steel Earrings (Hardware cannot be changed)
Weight: Although made of ceramic, they are lightweight and comfortable to wear.
As these are unique, one-of-a-kind accessories, they are perfect for gifts.
Please consider them as a gift for your loved ones.
*Since these are finished one-of-a-kind items, we cannot accept hardware changes or requests for resale.
*We will ship the item shown in the photos. However, if it has already been sold on another site, it may be made to order. In that case, please note that there will be individual differences in the color, pattern, and size of the ceramic shards and natural stones.
*"Kintsugi" is a unique Japanese traditional repair method that joins cracked or chipped ceramics using lacquer and gold powder. This work is created using a modern "simplified Kintsugi" technique. Unlike traditional Kintsugi made with raw tree sap (Hon-urushi), the bonding itself uses adhesive. The Kintsugi parts use lacquer (modern paint) and gold powder (brass powder, pearl powder), and UV resin is also used for reinforcement.
