This is Kintsugi SDGs jewelry upcycled from Arita ware.

We reuse broken, chipped, or otherwise unused pottery, applying Kintsugi to remake it into accessories.

The concept of the work is to allow people to feel nature and long-standing Japanese traditions close at hand, reborn as modern accessories that connect to the future and create new possibilities.

I combined deep blue pottery pieces, featuring a glimpse of silver leaf patterns, with black peacock freshwater pearls.

Since Kintsugi is applied to the sides of the pottery pieces, the gold stands out even from the side, producing a refined look.

The included chain is a hypoallergenic surgical stainless steel chain with 18K coating, which is resistant to discoloration, gentle on the skin, and allergy-friendly.

While surgical stainless steel is used by default, you can choose to upgrade to a 14KGF chain for those seeking superior shine and durability.14KGF is a material where 14K gold is pressure-bonded to brass. Unlike general plating, the gold layer is very thick, featuring beautiful, long-lasting color. It is popular for being relatively resistant to sweat and water, and for being hypoallergenic.The chain is a delicate and elegant design (45cm, 0.8mm thickness) with a smooth-moving slide ball, allowing you to freely adjust the length to your preference. ＊"Kintsugi" is a unique Japanese traditional repair technique that joins broken or chipped ceramics using lacquer and gold powder. This work is created using modern "simplified Kintsugi" techniques. Unlike traditional Kintsugi made from the sap of the lacquer tree, it uses "New Urushi" (a less irritating synthetic lacquer) and gold powder (brass powder), with UV resin also used for reinforcement.
