This is Kintsugi SDGs jewelry upcycled from Arita ware.
We reuse broken or chipped pottery that is no longer in use, applying Kintsugi to transform them into accessories.
The concept of the work is to allow people to feel nature and long-standing Japanese traditions close at hand, rebirthing them into modern accessories that lead to the future and creating new possibilities.
We paired freshwater pearls with elegant ceramic shards featuring glimpses of orange and gold floral patterns. Kintsugi is applied to the sides of the shards, making the gold stand out even when viewed from the side and adding a touch of refinement.
These earrings are perfect as a focal point for both casual and elegant outfits.
Size: 17 x 17 mm
Hardware: Clip-on earrings (Hardware cannot be changed)
Weight: Although they are ceramic shards, they are lightweight and comfortable to wear. ◎
As this is a one-of-a-kind accessory, it is ideal for a gift. Please consider it as a gift for your loved ones.
*As this is a sale of a finished one-of-a-kind item, we cannot accept hardware changes or requests for remakes.
*We will send the item shown in the photo, but if it has already been sold on another site, it may be made to order. In that case, please note that there will be individual differences in the color, pattern, and size of the ceramic shards and natural stones.
*"Kintsugi" is a traditional Japanese repair technique. This work is created using a modern simplified Kintsugi technique. Unlike traditional lacquer made from the sap of lacquer trees, the pieces are joined with adhesive. The Kintsugi parts use modern lacquer and gold powder (brass or pearl powder), with UV resin also used for reinforcement.
